Our Muddle
Welcome to The Eden-field Project where our community can learn and grow through outdoor adventures. We focus on hands-on experiences in nature, fostering a love for the environment while developing essential life skills. Explore our services that help engage with the beauty of the natural world!
All our guinea pigs are rescue guinea pigs from Lancashire Guinea Pig rescue.

A mud kitchen is an outdoor play station where children can engage in imaginative and sensory play using mud, water, and natural materials. The Prancing Pig kitchen is made from wood and equipped with pots, pans, bowls, and utensils, it mimics a real kitchen setup, encouraging role play and creativity.

FeFe
Dam building is an outdoor activity where children work individually or in groups to create small dams using natural materials like mud, rocks, and sticks to block or redirect the flow of water. This hands-on, playful challenge utilises Dearden Brook that flows from the Scout Moor down to Ramsbottom where it meets the River Irwell.

Lydia
A seed planting activity involves children planting seeds in soil, either in pots, garden beds, or outdoor spaces, and caring for them as they grow. It’s a hands-on way to learn about nature, life cycles, and responsibility. We use all plants to help with our conservation efforts at the project.

Caramel
Helping to home rescue guinea pigs, we take as many as we can from Lancashire Guinea Pig rescue, especially the ones that have waited a long time for a new home. They live in a mini Hobbiton space.
