Conservation

At The Eden-field Project, conservation is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to restore, protect, and enhance the natural landscape of our sites—creating a thriving habitat for wildlife and a living classroom for our community.

We actively tackle invasive species such as Himalayan balsam and Japanese knotweed, working year-round to remove these threats and give native plants the space they need to flourish. Alongside this, we’re committed to introducing and nurturing a rich variety of native species—helping to restore the area’s natural balance and resilience.

Our ongoing efforts are designed to improve local biodiversity, supporting a wider range of plants, insects, birds, and animals. By working with volunteers, educators, and community groups, we turn conservation into a collective journey—empowering everyone to make a positive impact on the environment.

Join us at The Eden-field Project as we protect today’s landscape and inspire tomorrow’s conservationists.

Community

Community is at the core of The Eden-field Project. We believe that shared spaces create stronger bonds, so we open our venues and land to local people through our inclusive allotment scheme. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a first-time grower, everyone is welcome to cultivate, connect, and contribute.

Our commitment goes beyond providing space—we actively reinvest in the local area through eco-tourism initiatives, supporting sustainable growth and new opportunities for residents.

By inviting the community to participate, we foster a sense of belonging and shared ownership, turning The Eden-field Project into a hub for learning, wellbeing, and collaboration.

We are here to strengthen social ties and promote community cohesion. Together, we’re building a place where people support one another, celebrate local heritage, and create a positive social impact that lasts.

Join us at The Eden-field Project and be part of a community that grows, thrives, and gives back.
